This will initially be a commission-based position; however, these commissions are substantial.

Our International company is looking for an experienced lumber executive to assist in the market development for Taiwan.


OUR PRODUCT:

We have a revolutionary wood-coating system. This coating is GreenSpec approved, meaning it is completely environmentally friendly, and also that LEED points are applicable for any projects using our product.

Once our coating has been applied to the wood product, that wood then:

Has the same fire rating as concrete (!);

Has a Lifetime Guaranty to prevent mould, rot, mildew, fungus AND any insect infestation, including all termites.

The product is applied topically (spray, dip or flood-coat), works with all wood products (EWP, glu-lam, OSB, panels, stick, etc) and on all wood species. Our product is used for all interior (framing) and exterior applications (decks, cladding, shingles, fencing, etc).

Our product comes in either a blue colour or clear, but it can also be custom-tinted to customer specs (greater cost involved typically). Since no pressurization is needed to make the product, it is extremely cost-effective (our chemical prices are lower than traditional pressure treating chemicals - and ours are Green too!), making it incredibly affordable for the end-users.

This product was originally developed in the United States, and our company purchased the Global rights to it in 2006. It has been used in many high-profile home-reno television shows and in many high-profile building projects.

We are currently either manufacturing in, or shipping to, all of North America, South Korea, Japan, China, New Zealand, Australia, Central and South America, Africa, the Middle East, and now the EU. We have 70 licenced manucturing facilities world-wide.


CANDIDATE'S QUALITIES:

The candidate we seek must have industry experience and high-level, current contacts. Your background can be in green lumber or pressure-treated product sales. You must be well-versed in the industry's challenges and opportunities. You will be selling the opportunity to the industry - we need you to get companies interested in producing the product locally. Your commission is to be based on the amount of chemical concentrate we sell into your country.

While initially to be a commission-only assignment, once market penetration reaches specific targets, this position will transform into a salaried position with a number of sales and marketing individuals reporting to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will be provided with all the sales support required to be successful (PowerPoints, brochures, etc.). Further, company executives will be available to attend any high-potential meetings.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Mandarin.

Education level is irrelevant; we are seeking a "bulldog" who sees an opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a company that is going to be one of the largest in the industry within 5 years. Please note that all references provided will be checked.
