You won’t have to buy anything at all to furnish the apartment. Also recently thoroughly cleaned.
Location is great because it’s off the main roads, so it's quiet, but still within a 1 minute walk of everything. Apartment is about a 7 minute walk from the Sun Yatsen Memorial Hall MRT (blue line), and the bus stop is just up the block. Also you can literally see the "Living Mall" from the balcony. Inside the living mall there is a full food court, movie theatre, etc… Carrefour and Welcome mart are both within 5 minutes of the apartment and the Raohe Night market is about 15 minutes away by foot. Apartment is also within a 15 minute walk from the ZhongXiao-Dunhua area. Plenty of restaurants near by, lunch boxes, 7-11's all within a 2 minute walk. Also have garbage service so no need to wait for the garbage truck.
The land lord is great and extremely prompt when getting back to any questions you might have. She is also extremely understanding of any "situation" that might come up, causing you to be a day or two late with rent. Utility bills (gas, water, electricity, internet) usually add up to less than $1000 a month. I looked at nearly 10 apartments and I wish I could have saved myself the time by finding this one first.

Would be sharing the apartment with a chill group of two American girls and an American guy who are teaching English and studying Chinese in Taipei. At least one of us loves to cook and we have fairly frequent dinner get togethers.
